School Tours
The History of Diving Museum is the perfect place for your school's field trip! We offer custom programming that includes an orientation and guided tour of the museum exhibits. All of our programs provide the opportunity to touch, explore, and immerse yourself in our exhibits.
Rates
Ages 11 and under —- $5.00 per person, with a minimum of 10 paid
Ages 12+ —- $9.00 per person, with a minimum of 10 paid
School tours are generally offered Monday – Friday, but special arrangements for weekend tours can be made. Tours should be scheduled at least one week in advance so that the museum can provide guides for your tour. To make reservations, please call us at 305-664-9737 and we'll be happy to assist you!
Group Tours
The Museum welcomes groups of all sizes to tour the exhibits. If you have more than 10 people, you are eligible for the group rate of $9.00 per person. Please call in advance of your visit so that we may provide any necessary accommodations to make your visit the best it can be.
Diving History Research Library
The Museum's research library is for students and scholars, a project funded by the Monroe County Tourist Development Council and the Museum. It houses the largest collection of historic and rare literature about diving history currently in existence. If you would like more information about what materials are available, or opportunities for research, please contact us.
Lectures and Programs
The Museum offers a free public program on the third Wednesday of every month on special topics such as custom helmet fabrication, regional diving history, new technologies, diving safety, and more. Check our Events page for upcoming events and programs!
