“A Quest for the Past: Adventures in Underwater Exploration” - Free program on September 15th, 7pm

Eric Wartenweiler Smith’s passion for underwater archaeology has taken him around the world uncovering sunken history from cities lost under the sea. From excavating Cleopatra’s Sunken Palace to recovering unexploded bombs buried at the bottom of the ocean, learn how Smith has used innovative underwater technologies to protect us and preserve our history. Are you ready for an underwater adventure?

Free admission for Military and Families through September 6thBlue Star Museums

To show our appreciation for U.S. military personnel, the History of Diving Museum is honored to participate in the Blue Star Museum Program which provides free admission for active duty military and up to five family members from Memorial Day (Friday, May 28, 2010) through Labor Day (Monday, September 6, 2010). 305-664-9737 for more information. Save the date! You don’t want to miss one of our biggest events of the entire year! To celebrate 4 years of diving history, we are are hosting museum day + founder’s day which will offer free museum admission all day from 10am-5pm.

Join us for food, fun, and entertainment for the whole family! We will be giving special “founder’s” tours and teaming up with a variety of local non-profits. You won’t want to miss this special day! Please stay tuned for details!
